This guy loved his sample so much he immediately used his coupon!
We started off this morning heading to Wades Dairy. José (who was kind enough to meet us on a Saturday morning) made it possible for us to make sure we have enough samples for all you wonderful Nutmeggers for the rest of the week. Thank you José, we hope you enjoyed the Tahitian Vanilla!
It was a gorgeous Saturday here in CT. We gave out over 300 samples just at our first event. Can you all guess what the favorite flavor of the day was? Surprise, surprise.. Chocolate Alba Hazelnut! The standout fans of the day include the man whom while waiting for his gelato, played air guitar for everyone in line (we had our classic rock station playing). And we also had someone shout “Thank God for free ice cream!” Thank you both for those “little moments of happiness.”*
On our lunch break we visited Yale University. I thought about wearing my laptop around and hoping to pass as a student, but I guess the bright pink truck and matching shirt would probably give me away. Anywho, we love the bulldog (Handsome Dan) and hear that 16 generations ago he was the first live college mascot in America?
*Check one of my earlier blogs to find out what my moments of happiness are, and how you contribute to them.
