We aren’t ready to call it a pattern quite yet, but today, the West Coast Bella Girls had a second occurrence of a really fun thing.
We, and all Bella Girls, are employed full time to bring treats to people. We spend our days brightening people’s days with our free samples of Ciao Bella’s award winning sorbets and gelatos. As I wrote yesterday, it’s a pretty great job. I am fairly certain that I’ll never have another job where everyone is so thrilled to see me show up to start a day’s work!

But, today, for the second time this summer, someone brought us a treat! At the Albertson’s in Long Beach this morning, we were handing out samples when a man showed up at our window with a bag of his gourmet cookies for us!
We had given him a sample about a half hour earlier. He left to make a delivery at a local cafe, but ending up having one extra bag, so he came back to give it to us! We haven’t eaten them yet, but they look like they’ll go great with a Tahitian Vanilla gelato. : )
We were so touched and excited, and it was like a taste of our own “medicine” – it really is nice to get a surprise treat, and we feel pretty lucky that we get to do that for people all day long.
